Char Shiu Pork:
4 lbs. boneless country style spare ribs (two pieces)
1 tsp. five spice powder
¼ c. honey
¼ c. mirin
2 T. hoisin sauce
2 T. sweet Thai chili sauce
2 T. soy sauce
4 tsp. oyster sauce
4 cloves garlic, grated

Mix all ingredients except the pork until combined.  Pour over the pork in a bowl or plastic bag and marinate overnight in the refrigerator.  Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Shake marinade off the pieces of pork, place pork on a rack in a roasting pan and roast, turning and basting every 20 mins., until the internal temperature of the meat is 145 degrees.   Turn meat side up, brush with remaining marinade and broil carefully until a crisp, but not burnt, crust develops.  Allow to cool.  Slice thinly across the grain into 1 ½” square pieces.  (This makes enough pork for a double recipe of noodles.)
